Appearance:
We found a type with rings that were a dull blue in Clovelly, a bit like the blue-ringed octopus (but not as dangerous!). They were a dull greenish grey. They are called sea hares because they look a bit like a bunny rabbit - they have bunny ears! But they are not really ears. They might be trimmed bit of corals growing on them. We will look that up.

Threats to the Sea Hare:
How you threaten these creatures, is if you squeeze them, hold them too long, pile them on top of each other. They will squeeze out purple ink. It means they just want you to leave them alone. If it's in the water, and a predator is coming, it will puff out that ink so that it can hide behind it and zoom away without its predators knowing. If a different predator comes, like a blind one, they will just make like a ball that makes a really loud sound, like a canon, which scares away predators and it will it alone.
